Role Summary:
The Project Manager for the Church Production Team oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all production elements for church services and events. This role ensures that creative and technical teams work seamlessly together to deliver high-quality worship experiences. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between production, worship, events , and ministry leaders, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and creative goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and maintain production timelines for weekly services and special events.
- Coordinate pre-production meetings to align creative and technical elements.
- Create detailed production schedules and cue sheets for services and events.
- Team Leadership & Communication:
- Serve as the point of contact for all production teams (audio, lighting, video, and stage).
- Ensure effective communication between worship leaders, ministry staff, and production teams.
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings to review service objectives and post-event evaluations.
- Resource & Budget Management:
- Manage production resources, including equipment and volunteer assignments.
- Oversee production purchase request.
- Procure necessary supplies and equipment in collaboration with the production director.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements to production workflows and team efficiency.
- Document and refine processes for consistent execution of services and events.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Anticipate and address potential challenges in production schedules or technical execution.
- Ensure the safe handling and use of all production equipment.
- Creative Collaboration:
- Partner with worship and creative teams to align production elements with the service vision.
- Support the execution of creative concepts for special services and sermon series.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in church production or event management (preferred)
- Familiarity with audio, video, and lighting systems (preferred but not required)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure situations
