Role Summary:

The ProPresenter Team Lead is responsible for managing and operating visual presentations during church services and events. This role ensures that song lyrics, sermon slides, videos, and other visual content are displayed accurately and on time. The ProPresenter Team Lead recruits, trains, and oversees a team of volunteers to deliver a seamless visual experience that supports worship and message delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Execution:
  • Operate ProPresenter during services to ensure accurate and timely presentation of lyrics, sermon slides, and videos.
  • Anticipate and adapt to real-time changes during services.
  • Ensure all visual elements are distraction-free and enhance worship experiences.
• Content Management:
  • Prepare and organize ProPresenter playlists for each service, including songs, announcements, and sermon media.
  • Collaborate with the worship team and pastors to gather and input correct content.
  • Maintain a well-organized library of media assets within ProPresenter.
• Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and schedule ProPresenter volunteers.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to team members.
  • Ensure team members are confident and prepared to execute services independently.
• Technical Oversight:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ProPresenter software and associated hardware (displays, projectors, etc.).
  • Ensure proper operation of confidence monitors and stage displays.
  • Stay updated on software updates and best practices for ProPresenter use.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the production director, worship leaders, and media teams to align visual elements with service flow.
  • Participate in rehearsals to fine-tune content and transitions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in ProPresenter software (current version preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Basic understanding of audio, video, and display systems (preferred but not required)
• Problem-solving and adaptability skills for live production

Time Commitment:

• Weekly Sunday services and occasional midweek events
• Rehearsals and pre-service preparation as needed
