“Build the House, Carry the Heart”
Vision: Equip new team members to operate skillfully in production while embodying the cultural values of your church.
Format: 4-6 week process with weekly modules, shadowing, and mentorship.
🔹 Phase 1: Orientation & Vision Alignment (Week 1)
Goal: Connect volunteers to the mission of the church and help them see their role in it.
Key Themes:
- High Resolution Vision → Share the why behind the production team: we serve to create environments for people to meet Jesus.
- The Bottom Line → Reinforce that we don’t just “do tasks”—we partner with God in equipping the saints and reaching the lost.
Activities:
- Welcome lunch or virtual meet-and-greet with team leads
- Watch a short film or testimony that shows the impact of production on someone’s faith journey
- Teach the 3 "lenses" of production: Spiritual Atmosphere, Excellence in Execution, Servant Leadership
🔹 Phase 2: Heart First, Then Hands (Week 2)
Goal: Establish the heart posture needed to serve.
Key Themes:
- Heart Over Gift → Character and humility matter more than skill.
- Growth Over Comfort → You will grow through stretching, correction, and new challenges.
Activities:
- Devotion & discussion: 1 Samuel 16:7 and Philippians 3:13-14
